INDUSTRY SEGMENT: Medical Surgical Devices and Products
DESCRIPTION: On behalf of our client, a multinational manufacturer of medical devices and products, we are now hiring an experienced Human Resource Professional to manage, shape and enhance the Human Resource function in Canada. The Human Resources Manager will report directly to the Canadian President. The H/R Manager will be responsible and accountable for the Strategic H/R Plan, day-to-day management and general H/R functions.
REQUIREMENTS FOR HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER:
In addition to a Degree or Diploma, a current or in-process CHRP or CHRL designation and 7+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist, Manager or Business Partner, we require:
- Ability and willingness to take the initiative and manage the functions without hands-on supervision while ensuring that the President is duly informed and aware
- Solid communication skills and fluency in the use of MS Applications including Teams
- Broad knowledge and experience with all relevant HR functions
- Broad experience dealing with a variety of relevant stakeholders
- Performance driven
Although candidates with past or present commercial healthcare experience are preferred, other relevant corporate experience may be considered. English/French Bilingualism would be considered an asset.
