Our client, a global pharmaceutical company is searching to hire an experienced Pharmaceutical Marketer.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Lead the development and execution of marketing and sales strategies for the company’s currently promoted product portfolio and spearhead innovative approaches for reaching customers.
Prepare for the launch of a new medications
Manage the marketing budget
Collaborate with interdepartmental colleagues, agencies and other suppliers
Effectively develop and omnichannel marketing approach to engage customers virtually and through the field force
Lead appropriate primary and secondary market research
This is a Hybrid role where you would be working in the Toronto office on a weekly basis and therefore, must reside within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must have:
Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience in a marketing role. Candidates with experience in the biologics/biosimilars and a deep understanding of broad therapeutic areas are highly preferred.
Experience in omni-channel marketing with a focus on digital marketing
Solid understanding of current regulatory and market access issues in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry
Superior collaboration and negotiation skills
Strong leadership, business acumen and confident presentation skills
Bachelor level degree in business or Life Sciences is required. Candidates with an advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PhD) are strongly preferred.
